Day 255 - Sept. 14, 2008

WOO HOO !!! Lost 10 pounds in my first 14 days of ATKINS !!!!
I am really excited as this for some reason or another I have been able to stick with and really make it work for me... I have been staying within my minimum of 20g of carbs a day.. Getting a little tired of eggs every morning, but then again, better than a bagel with cream cheese....
So next step would be to increase my activity level.. Got to see what I can do to make this happen and start sticking to a regimen... I know walking is the best thing out there and anyone can do it.. but honestly ever since I broke my foot, it has been a little difficult for me to walk a long time.. so I will take it one step at a time...
I was going to jump to Phase 1, but decided to stick it out for another 2 weeks, as I would like to lose at least another 10 - 15 pounds in the next 2 weeks... let's see my parent's anniversary party is less than a month away.. so I need to get down a little more to make it happen.. Adding exercise will make it happen quicker.. I just need to learn to accept that and make the change..
Well I am excited that these first 2 weeks were fun and I am excited that I got thru them.. I am on a new high, and will continue to make it to my goal... 100 less by Dec. 31... See you at the finish line !!!

Congrats Liz!! Keep up the momentum. Doesn't Atkins allow you cottage cheese? You could do cottage cheese with tomaotes, cucumber and basil. I had that when I was on South Beach and it was really good. Keep it up!
