Ok, so Sunday was awesome... Had a fabulous dinner, great conversation and overall an awesome time.... (Thanks Lorraine !)
Funny thing the majority of the conversation at dinner was around diets, and the Weight Watchers system. Points, points, points... So I decided to spend some time today on the WW sight and go on their message boards and I came across one that really made me make firm commitment.... It basically said that we need to take a vow to uphold our weight loss vows like a marriage. Here is the vow....
"Do you take WW to be your wedded way of life to live it like a marriage? Do you promise to love, comfort, honor and keep this healthy way of life for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health? And forsaking all other unhealthy food choices be faithful to yourself and WW so long as you shall live?
" I DO!"
Great, now throw away that bouquet of bad snacks and put on your ring to remind you of this commitment. Use anything you have a ring or bracelet whatever, something you can see to remind you to stay true as we head towards our goals.
Use the STAR chart to keep track of your journey Try to earn 5/5 Stars everyday
1)Journal Everything
2)Drink 48 oz of Water
3)Take 15+ minutes of "Me Time"
4)Make the Right Food Choices (by meeting daily requirements and staying within points...can use flex/AP's if needed)
5)Exercise
Isn't that awesome.... "I DO !!" I am wearing a bracelet to remind me of the vow and commitment that I made and moving forward I will continue to count my points and have fun!!
